Long Maxi Puffer Thicken Jacket

Long enough to keep my legs warm walking outdoors, or driving on snowy days. There's room to move inside when this is completely zipped up, and can unzip the sides when more active or to cool off. The wrist cuffs are hidden in the sleeves and keep the warmth in, and the deep outside pockets are lined with soft material - deep enough to keep gloves in too. Inside pocket on the left. Plenty of room in the hood, which is removable but I keep it on as it is so comfortable. The attached vest inside can be zipped up separately for variation in style and warmth. Down and feather filling are temperature regulating, and I like that I can wear this in rain or snow and come back into a warm room without feeling too hot. I never feel too hot or too cold, and don't always need a scarf and hat when wearing this. Water beads off of the water resistant material, snow melts off. Wearing this fully zipped up I can drive in comfort, and I've even taken a couple naps in this coat in the car, using the hood as a pillow. This is the most comfortable coat I have for winter, and I'm thoroughly impressed by the quality, style and warmth.

I LOVE my new coat, at a ridiculous level! I get chilled easily, but I'm active, hiking, biking, jogging, walking and going to stadiums and outdoor events year round. I don't want a huge outerwear wardrobe, and this one coat does it all. With the quality and appearance, I can't believe this coat is priced so low. They did not skimp on the down filling. It's like wearing my favorite comforter around town. :) But, the best part of this coat is it's versatility. Remove the hood liner, unzip the sides and front and use one or two snaps for cool fall/spring weather. As we're getting into winter, I put the hood back on so I could use the "vest" layer. I just zip the vest and leave the rest open to vent, so I don't overheat. I usually take the hoods off my coats because they get in the way, but this one is so comfy. It doesn't choke me when I'm sitting in the car, it just gently wraps around my neck and feels like I'm wearing a scarf. I like that the hood has good structure to it, so it just curves up over my head and doesn't smash my hair or cause a lot of static. If I'm standing around or sitting out on a cold day I Use. It. All. Vest zipped, front and sides zipped, snaps snapped to keep the wind out, hood up. The long length gives me a warm puffy seat under my bum on metal stadium seats. It it so crazy warm and comfy I don't hardly feel a chill. Like walking around in a camping mummy bag, but chic. Lastly, why this coat is THE ONE for me: I bike commute even in winter. The variety of zips on this coat allow me to unzip the top half to vent my core, but with the side zips open I can lay the front of the coat across my lap to keep my quads and knees warm and flip the back of it out over my cargo rack behind me so I can move freely on the seat. (If you don't have a rack or bags, it could hit your tire, so beware. )I normally like subtle colors but traffic is growing in my area and safety is first, so I got the brightest color, the red. I thought I would hate it, but it's grown on me. It's actually a soft pinkish red, not garish, and parts are darker and lighter breaking it up so I don't just look like a wall of red comin' at ya. I really like the way it fits and looks on, though that wasn't a priority for me. It's cute and fashiony, and I've gotten compliments. The material has a subtle sheen so it's a little reflective (but more would be amazing, especially for walks in the winter dark). And the hand wash setting on my machine can handle it so I can wash and hang dry my coat at home if it gets sweaty or road spray. Sooooo many good things. . . ;)Hope this helps!

Great coat, warm (and I'm very cold natured). Had to have it for chores outside in very cold temps & high winds. Quality, well made. Very nice zippers on the sides, so you can sit down. The inner panel is great. However the main zipper is very difficult to get the two side connected. I would have exchanged it for another, but can't wait the time to do that. Because it's very cold & windy now, and I need it. An inner pocket with zipper would have been a nice feature for such a nice coat. The difficult zipper is why I gave it only 4 stars.

This is warm and comfortable. I love that it has multiple pockets and has zippers down the lower part of the coat to allow you to take bigger steps if need be.

This is my second jacket from Orolay and I'm absolutely in love with it. I love the long length which resembles a trench coat. However it's a puffer filled with real goose down feathers. As a result it's lightweight and extremely warm without the weight and bulk. It has a nice element of style as opposed to just being a basic puffer jacket. Therefore it can be easily dressed up or down depending on your needs. It even has a nice shiny accent piece around the color to provide extra warmth and protection. The hood is removable. Launders easily and regular wash and dry cycles. Highly recommended.
